Born in 1977 and based in Central Switzerland, Captain Alfonso Ochoa has spent more than 15 years navigating both saltwater and freshwater, logging over 4,000 nautical hours across a wide range of vessels — from agile sport boats to modern cabin cruisers.
A passionate and certified skipper, Alfonso combines technical expertise, calm leadership, and genuine hospitality. His experience at sea — from the open ocean to the tranquil beauty of Lake Lucerne — ensures every guest feels safe, relaxed, and inspired.
He speaks English, German, and Spanish fluently, as well as some French, and offers all experiences fully available in French and Italian. Communication, warmth, and connection are at the core of his philosophy.
